Year recap - -
Started out the new year living at my parents – house sitting – in Westport, CT. Not a bad gig, I must say!
While reconnecting with friends on a weekend up in Vermont, I took Linda snowmobiling for the first time in January.
Linda & I purchased our current residence (which the bank has kindly let us live in while we pay them back!) in February.
Linda ran the Shamrock Marathon in Virginia Beach, VA in March.
Linda celebrated her 38th birthday in April.
My ex & I celebrated Sophie’s ‘GOTCHA DAY’ in May by going to see “Hairspray” in New Haven, CT.
Linda's beloved cat, Oakee, passed away in June at the tender age of 16.
In July, I began my 2 year elected position on the Executive Board of our Temple.
We loved meeting our 2nd cousin Howie from California, as well as having our Israeli niece & nephew visiting us in August. We also experienced Ogunquit, ME for the first time and LOVED it! This was the month that I also experienced my first ambulance ride!
Sophie began 3rd grade in September. Linda & I rode the Tour de Bronx - 30+ miles!
Connecticut voted to legalize gay marriage (I even got interviewed for the local news!) and Linda & Sophie missed celebrating their 3rd “Metcha Day” in October due to us traveling to Israel for our nephew Gilad's Bar Mitzvah.
We became the proud parents to our ‘boys’ – Tommy & Petey, the orange-colored dynamic duo cats in November.
And we became proud owners of a Mini Cooper, I turned 51 and Linda tried snowboarding for the first time in December.
Not a bad year to look back on.
If you want more details, you'll have to actually go into the achives. I don't spoil my readers like my friend Tina does! :)
Happy New Year, folks. Stay safe and warm and I hope you enjoy a nice kiss with your favorite person at midnight!

Happy New Year to you, Linda, and Sophie.
Cheers to 2009!
