Our team was on fire last night.
The first game we all did ok... above our averages, but nothing too exciting, but enough to win the game. I think I bowled a 134. (my average is a 130)
The second game, I must have stepped in sh*t. I didn't have one open frame. Not a lot of strikes but picking up the spares every time. By the time the 8th frame came along, my heart was racing and I was willing all those around me not to mention how well I was doing and it worked. No one said a word. The 9th frame, I bowled a strike. The 10th frame I bowled another strike and then.... a 1 and an 8! But, I finished with a score of 203! This puts me at the top of the list of the high scratch game for women! WOOHOO!
The 3rd game I bowled a 148 and one of my teammates bowled a 181, which put her at #2 for women's high scratch game.
Our team scores combined put us as contenders for other prizes, as well, but there are still 8 more weeks to go! We won all 3 games, which moved us into 3rd place out of 12 teams! (We were in 6th!) What a week!
Oh do shut up. LOL

Congrats. We are fake bowlers at my house. We always have bumpers and take on fake names. They change with out moods. Bing is usually something like Spike, while Liv likes super hero names like Wonder Cat or Fran Fantastic. And me? I'm usually Betty, Wanda or Stella.

Congratulations on your bowling feats! It reminds me of mine several months ago. Not. The only bowling I've ever done is candlepin, until recently when we thought it would be a hoot to go for the big balls :) I disgraced my athletic past. Maybe I need pointers.
